Foundation Furniture
A long-planned sales showroom is now open at Foundation Furniture in Port Glasgow. Kindly made possible by the Community Recycling Network for Scotland, the showroom has a capacity equivalent to all three Maxie Richards Foundation Charity Shops in Partick and Maryhill combined.
The selection constantly changes, with something for every home. There is anything from college inventory to bespoke creations, famous brands (we cannot name them here!) to antiques, sofas, tables, chairs, beds, cupboards, accessories, and cushions in ever-changing variety.
Our expert craftsmen finish, paint, and upholster to your wishes. Staff are always onsite, and delivery is gladly arranged.
The prices are sensational!
What do we do?
We train recovering addicts to professionally rebuild, re-upholster, and recondition furniture. The results finance our continued social work, where ALL the profits go.
Why "Foundation Furniture"?
The "Foundation" bit is from Maxie Richards Foundation, a Scottish charity and our parent organisation.
The "Furniture" bit refers to our work in the Boglestone Industrial Estate high above Port Glasgow.
